The Trade Wars Game Server, TWGS for short, is a stand-alone game hosting application.  It provides a game operator the means to host up to 25 separate games of Trade Wars 2002 over a TCP/IP connection.  Games can be run on a local network (requires TCP/IP) or the Internet (requires an Internet-accessible IP address).

TWGS provides a control center for running the game and its management programs (TEDIT, EXTERN, BIGBANG), and a manager for running Gold alien races (available with TW Gold only).  The full version allows up to 100 simultaneous online players with up to 500 players active in each game.
